Question by danielle l: study abroad help?
I’m thinking more of the northern part of Europe. For example Germany, Sweden, Norway, etc. Which countries are best and why? I could use as much information as possible! Also, does studying abroad affect college applications ? Oh, and which organization to use??
…Last question…. Is 14 or 15 too young in your mind? …Just wondering….

14 and 15 is way to young for abroad in college…you need to graduate high school first and foremost and go to senior prom with your friends, and have all that fun time with them. I wish though that I had studied abroad when I had the chance. I went to Norway in 2005 and loved my time there (what little there was of it), though it was COLD. Germany was awesome, and I hope to go back there someday. I stayed in Berlin for a day as well in 2005 (this was part of a European cruise I went on). I highly recommend Germany only because of the historical aspect, and all the people I met there were really friendly. Not sure on your other questions, but good luck!!! PS-there is a program where you can study aboard a cruise ship for 3 years or something like that and get your Bachelors degree and see several different countries. It is called The Scholar Ship, but it costs $ 20,000 or something like that, and you have to share your cabin with someone you don’t know. But, I would do it in a heartbeat if I had the chance to. Good luck!
